Welcome! My name is Matt, and I currently live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in
Hickory. North Carolina. I have a passion for making, fixing and building. Growing up throughout middle and high school, I gained a lot of construction/remodeling experience while working with my role model, my dad. I learned that like him, I enjoyed working with my hands. My love for woodworking specifically came about when I first began dating my fiancé. I struggled to find her an original gift, so I went into my backyard, found a cedar log, and transformed it into a custom iHome speaker/charger system. There have been slow times, but I haven’t stopped woodworking since.

 

From my background in renovations and my love for woodworking, I established McGreal Made
Woodworking and Renovations in 2017. The brand was inspired by my time in college living in
Asheville, NC. The logo symbolizes a silhouette of the Blue Ridge Mountain peaks, which
double to represent the name, “McGreal Made”. I am very fortunate to have a business doing

what I love, and the opportunity to make people memorable products!
